By registerering to the Nightwish.com Forum you agree to the following rules:

1. The forum offers sections for Finnish, English and German. Posts in other languages will be deleted. There is a list of partner forums in other languages at the bottom of the main page.

2. Do not post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, racist, insulting, harrassing, obscene, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. This also applies to your signature and e-mail sent through the forum's e-mail feature.

3. The forum is not a chatroom so don't use it for smalltalk. Spamming is not tolerated and notorious spammers will be banned.

4. Use meaningful topic titles and DON'T SHOUT! "HEEEEELP" and "omg this is too cool" topics will be deleted without further warning. Stay on topic when replying!

5. You agree not to post or trade any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you. This includes (but is not limited to) audio and video files, bootlegs and links to websites with illegal content.

6. The forum has a search function and a list of frequently asked questions. Before you start a new topic, check whether a topic like yours already exists. Failure to do so will get your topic closed.

7. The moderators and webmasters have the sole power to decide which topics get closed and which users are suspended or banned. If you feel treated unfair, contact a moderator or administrator by e-mail. Public discussions about moderators or administrative decisions will be closed.

8. Be nice to the others, especially new members! This forum has members from all over the world and all age groups. If you can't tolerate other opinions and cultural differences, this forum is not for you.

9. Use the "Contact the mods" topic or send an e-mail to a moderator if you think rules have been broken or a topic should be closed. Posting "this is stupid, somebody should close it!" in the topic does not help anybody.

10. To prevent automated spam-bots from signing up, you will have to answer a simple question during registration. The answer is "10th" (without quotes).

11. Choose a username and avatar that is at least remotely tasteful. Your avatar should not be violent, vulgar or pornographic in any way (in other words: safe for all age groups) and should not exceed 30 KB in size.

12. Those rules are not subject to negotiation. If you don't like them, don't join the forum.
